In 1998 Gilmore Entertainment decided to bring all three shows The Dixie Jubilee, Southern Country Nights and the Carolina Opry into the brand new 2500 seat state of the art facility in Myrtle Beach SC. Were Tim served as Featured Pianist...
During this time he acquired another trait that would benefit him to this day... Tim state’s, The guy that was doing all the orchestration work for Calvin Gilmore Productions left us and Calvin was looking for another guy to fill the slot and ask me to do it. I had never thought about orchestration nor did I have the experience and at first turned down the offer. But Calvin was persistent and eventually I gave in and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I ever made...
Not only was Tim doing Orchestrations for the Biggest Show on the East Coast but touring artist were calling him to overdub Strings and Horns for New Projects they were recording in the studio... Not long after he started Orchestration work for Calvin Gilmore he found himself Producing Orchestrations on as many as 5 artists Cd’s a week. “To say I was burning the Midnight Oil would be an understatement”.  In 2004 Tim had to make a decision, He was working 16 hours a day at the Carolina Opry and Producing, Playing Piano and Orchestrating on as many artist Cds as he could handle...
“One of the hardest decisions I ever made was leaving Calvin Gilmore. But after 14 years and close to 5,000 shows I felt like there was more to life that I wanted to do so on, May 28th 2004 I played my last show with the Carolina Opry... I will never forget that day as I was leaving the next day to go to Nashville Tn.
One thing that Tim is very proud of, he never missed a show with Calvin Gilmore.
After leaving The Carolina Opry, Tim was doing all the session work he could do but still had a few dreams that he wanted to accomplish... So he made the move to Nashville Tn. Home of the Grand Ole Opry...
It was not long till Tim had landed a job working with one of the most successful National Tours in Country Music History, “The Honky-Tonk Tailgate Party” Featuring 90’s Country Hit-Makers, Daryle Singletary, Rhett Akins, Chad Brock, David Kersh, Jeff Carson...
Tim States “ The one thing I always wanted to do was play some of the biggest shows in the country and I had finally got my chance. I was like a kid in a candy store.”..
This opportunity also led the way to Tim performing on the Ryman and the “Grand Ole Opry” many times.“I must say that one of the highlights of my life was walking on stage at the Ryman Theater better known as the “Mother Church of Country Music”. It was an amazing experience...

Cat5 to me is a dream come true. If I could pick 4 Musicians to play and work with, Cam, Hugh, Glen and Jerry would be it. I’m really looking forward to what the future holds and the amazing music I believe we will be able to make and share with our Friends and Fans.
